In this class, the students will re­purpose wine bottles into functional and funky household items. Students will learn the methods to preparing the bottle, different methods of making holes and

cutting the bottle, melting the bottle and how to create the bottle for different means of lighting.Students will also learn a variety of decorating the bottles such as painting: glass, glass paint, re-

using bottle labels, and learning how to etch using a sandblaster. Each 2 session class we will create 2 of the following: self-watering planters, garden sculptures, rain chimes, cups made out of wine glasses,

candle holders, lights, cheese plates, jewelry, wind chimes, hanging lights/plant holders.
