🔥✝️🌸 FUSE & SIP: Glass Fused Cross Fundraiser 🌸✝️🔥 📅 Wednesday, March 11 ⏰ 6:00 PM 📍 Newark Valley Fire Hall 7151 State Route 38, Newark Valley, New York Join Jablon Studios for a special Fuse & Sip fundraiser benefiting the Newark Valley Costa Rica Travelers 🌎✈️ A portion of proceeds directly supports students preparing for their educational travel experience. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Great for kids & welcoming to all abilities. Families, children, and individuals of all developmental abilities are encouraged to attend. Instruction is supportive and inclusive so everyone creates confidently at their own pace. ✝️ What You’re Making: A glass fused cross designed in your choice of colored base glass (+ $10 for colored base) or on a classic clear base. Colored bases are available in a variety of beautiful options — however pink and purple are not available for this fundraiser. Design your cross using layered glass, decorative stringers, frit, and small embellishments. Participants can also create small fused accents to add depth, texture, and personal meaning. 🧡 What You’ll Learn: • Safe glass cutting and shaping • Layering transparent & opaque glass for dimension • Creating small fused accents and embellishments • Strong layout and design techniques • How kiln firing transforms layered glass into a polished finished piece ✨ What’s Included: • Clear cross base (colored base available for +$10) • Vibrant sheet glass • Specialty accents (stringers, frit, dots) • Tools & safety equipment • Step-by-step instruction • Professional kiln firing & finishing • Hanging hardware 🔥 After firing, every piece comes out of the kiln glossy, smooth, and beautifully fused. Colors brighten, edges round, and the glass transforms into a radiant, light-catching keepsake perfect for Easter or year-round display. 📦 Pick-Up Info: Pieces will be ready in approximately 2 weeks. Pick-up options: • Jablon Studios (Vestal) • Newark Valley pick-up (date & location to be announced) 🎨 Unable to attend? This project may also be completed during one of six Open Studio sessions offered each week. 🎟 No refunds. Due to custom material preparation and limited seating, tickets are non-refundable.
