Join us for one of our most popular and meaningful events of the year — the Glass Fused Ornament Workshop at Jablon Studios, 2240 Coleman Street, Vestal, NY 13850, on Monday, December 9th at 6:00 PM! In this fun and festive class, you’ll design and create two gorgeous glass fused ornaments—perfect for your tree, your window, or as heartfelt handmade gifts! You’ll learn how to cut, design, and layer glass, and how to use a wide variety of incredible fused glass materials to create amazing textures and effects. We’ll teach you how to work with our curly and straight glass stringers, colorful glass dots, delicate glass lace, vibrant glass powders, and our beautiful glass murrini flowers—plus so much more! You’ll also learn how to layer different glass mediums to create magical melted effects that make each ornament truly one-of-a-kind. We’ll have a huge selection of glass colors in both transparent and opaque, plus tons of decorative accents and pre-cut shapes to spark your creativity. You can make holiday themes, snowflakes, trees, stars, hearts—whatever you imagine! This is a great class for kids, families, and groups, and no experience is necessary. Our friendly and experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way. Once your ornaments are complete, we’ll fire them in our kiln and have them ready for pickup at Jablon Studios within 10 days. 🌟 This is our most important fundraiser of the year, and your participation helps support our studio’s community art programs and projects—so when you join us, you’re not only creating something beautiful, you’re helping keep creativity alive in our community! Please note: there are no refunds, but if you can’t attend, you can complete your ornaments during any of our six open studio sessions each week.
