❤️✨ Valentine’s Day Glass Votive Fundraiser ✨❤️ Sunday, February 8, 2026 | 6:00 PM 📍 First United Methodist Church 32 S Chenango St, Greene, NY Join Jablon Studios for a cozy, creative Valentine’s Day glass art fundraiser benefiting Catholic Charities’ Warming Bank, helping provide hot soup to those in need in our community 🍲❤️. Create something beautiful while supporting a truly meaningful cause 💞. 🕯️ Project: 3.5” Glass Fused Votive Participants will create a 3.5” glass fused votive that glows beautifully when lit from within ✨🕯️. You can decorate your votive any way you like, and we’ll have extra Valentine’s-themed materials available ❤️💗 🌈 Materials include: Tons of transparent glass so light shines through beautifully ✨ Extra pink, red, and white glass for hearts + Valentine designs ❤️ Glass stringer Glass frit Glass powders Glass lace Marbles Murrine (including flower designs) 🌸 Decorative glass elements 💗 Optional upgrade: Pink OR red glass base available for +$10 🎨 What You’ll Learn This is a hands-on fused glass class where you’ll learn: ✂️ How to cut and shape glass safely 🧩 How to plan a design that fires successfully in the kiln 🎨 How to layer glass for depth, movement, and color 🌫️ How to use glass powders for shading, sparkle, and soft gradients 🧵 How to use glass lace and stringer to add detail and linework 💎 How to use marbles and dimensional elements correctly (so they fuse safely) 🌸 How to incorporate murrine for pops of pattern and color ✨ How transparent glass creates the best glow when the votive is lit No experience needed — this class is beginner-friendly, kid-friendly, and a great first fused glass project 💕. 🔥 Firing & Pickup All votives will be professionally kiln-fired by Jablon Studios 🔥. 🕒 Pickup will be 1–2 weeks after the event ⚠️ Pieces might not be ready in time for the holiday, but we will try our hardest 💪❤️. 📍 Pickup options: Jablon Studios (Vestal) First United Methodist Church in Greene 🚨 Limited Space ⚠️ Only 35 spots available so everyone has comfortable workspace. 👉 Sign up early — this will fill up! 💗 ❤️ Why This Matters Your participation supports Catholic Charities’ Warming Bank and helps provide hot soup and warmth to those who need it most 🍲❄️❤️. ⚠️ Important Info No refunds If you’re unable to attend or finish your project, it may be completed during one of Jablon Studios’ Open Studio sessions (offered 6× a week)
