💖 Galentine’s Day Event: Glass Heart Sun Catchers Friday, January 30, 2026 📍 Maine Federated Church 2615 Main Street, Maine, NY 13802 Celebrate Galentine’s Day with friends while supporting a great local cause! Join Jablon Studios for a fun, creative Fuse & Sip fundraiser benefiting the J. Ralph Ingalls Building. This welcoming evening is the perfect mix of creativity, community, and glass art. ❤️ Project: Glass Fused Heart Sun Catchers Participants will create a glass fused heart sun catcher, perfect for Galentine’s gifting, winter décor, or keeping as a handmade keepsake. You’ll work with a huge assortment of glass, including: Transparent & opaque glass in every color imaginable Extra selections of pinks, reds, and whites for the Galentine’s theme Glass stringer Glass frit Glass lace Marbles Murrine Each piece is completely unique and designed by you. 🎨 What You’ll Learn This is a true hands-on glass art experience, not just assembly. Participants will learn: How to safely cut and shape glass How to design a fused glass piece that fires successfully How to layer glass for color, depth, and movement How to work with specialty materials such as: Stringer Frit Lace Marbles and murrine How glass transforms in the kiln and how to plan for that process No experience needed — this class is beginner-friendly, kid-friendly, and perfect for first-time glass artists. 🔥 Firing & Pickup All artwork will be carefully transported back to Jablon Studios and professionally kiln-fired. 🕒 Finished pieces will be ready for pickup within 1–2 weeks and may be picked up at: Jablon Studios in Vestal A designated pickup in Maine ⚠️ Important Info No refunds If you are unable to attend or finish your project, it may be completed during one of Jablon Studios’ Open Studio sessions (offered 6× a week) This event is a wonderful way to: 💗 Celebrate Galentine’s Day 🎨 Try glass fusion in a relaxed setting 🏛️ Support the J.
