🕊️🧩✨ Healing Trauma with Mosaics: Peace Sign Series ✨🧩🕊️ 📍 Class Details 🗓 Saturdays: April 11, 18 & 25, 2026 🕙 10:00–11:30 AM 📍 Jablon Studios 2240 Coleman St., Vestal, NY 13850 *if you need to miss a class, Iesa will be able to meet during open studio sessions as well* Participants are invited into a gentle, restorative mosaic experience centered on healing, reflection, and creative expression. Through the quiet rhythm of working with glass, this series offers space to slow down, focus, and reconnect with peace. Mosaic art is a powerful metaphor for restoration. Broken or scattered pieces are not discarded—they are gathered and intentionally formed into something whole and beautiful. So it is with us. Over this three-week series, each participant will design and create a mosaic peace sign, symbolizing healing, calm, and renewal. The process will move step-by-step through designing, building, and finishing the mosaic. Participants will have access to a wide range of materials including hundreds of colors of glass tiles, stained glass, mirror, jewelry, gems, beads, and decorative elements. Each mosaic is personal and unique. Throughout the series participants will learn the fundamentals of mosaic art, including: • Design and layout • Safely cutting and shaping glass • Working with color, pattern, and texture • Proper adhesive techniques • Grouting and finishing methods Instruction is supportive, calm, and beginner-friendly. No prior art or mosaic experience is required. The pace is intentionally relaxed so participants can work quietly, reflect, or engage with the group as they feel comfortable. This group offers space to: • Lay down what you’ve been carrying • Step out of constant exhaustion • Practice intentional focus • Reconnect with peace and soul nourishment • Experience mosaic art as a healing process All materials, tools, and instruction are provided.
