🧲 Homeschool Art Class: Glass Fused Magnets 🧲 Tuesday, February 10 • 10:00 AM 📍 Jablon Studios 2240 Coleman St, Vestal, NY 13850 💲 $10 per participant This homeschooler art class is a fun, hands-on introduction to fused glass—and parents are welcome to make projects too! Each participant will create three glass fused magnets, each measuring 2” square, using colorful glass materials and creative design techniques. Participants will design their magnets using a variety of glass including clear and colored sheet glass, frit, dots, stringers, and decorative elements. They’ll learn how to plan a design, layer glass for fusing, and explore how color and texture change in the kiln. No experience is needed—this class is beginner-friendly and great for all skill levels. All projects will be kiln-fired after class, and magnets will be finished with backing and ready to use. Families will be notified by email when pieces are ready for pickup, typically 1–2 weeks later, during open studio hours. 👨‍👩‍👧 Parents are welcome to make their own set of magnets. 👶 Children under 8 will need parent assistance, as they may not be able to safely hold glass nippers on their own. 🦺 Safety goggles are provided for all participants. ❗ Refund & Make-Up Policy Tickets are not refundable. If you cannot attend, your registration may be used to make the project during one of our six open studio sessions offered each week. Registrations do not expire.
