Ralph Ingalls Building in Maine, NY. A portion of proceeds will help support this important community space. 🎈 What You’re Making: A beautiful glass fused hot air balloon designed as a dangling suncatcher for indoor or outdoor display. Each balloon includes a separate basket piece, and we will professionally connect the basket to the balloon for you after firing, creating a finished hanging piece that moves and catches the light. Design your balloon using bright colors, patterns, and decorative glass to create a one-of-a-kind piece. 🧡 What You’ll Learn: • Safe glass cutting and shaping • Layering transparent & opaque glass for dimension • Creating patterns and decorative details with frit, stringers, dots & accents • Color balance and composition • How kiln firing transforms glass into a smooth, glossy finished piece ✨ What’s Included: • Pre-cut hot air balloon and basket glass bases • Hundreds of colors of sheet glass • Decorative frit, stringers, dots & accents • Tools & safety equipment • Step-by-step instruction • Professional kiln firing & finishing • Assembly of the dangling basket and hanging hardware 🔥 After firing, your piece comes out smooth, glossy, and beautifully fused, creating a vibrant suncatcher that glows and moves beautifully in the light. 👨‍👩‍👧 Great for kids and welcoming to all abilities.
