Mosaic Lazy Susan Workshop & Fundraiser 📍 Newark Valley Fire Hall, 7151 NY-38, Newark Valley, NY 13811 🗓 Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 6:00 PM Join us for a creative evening while supporting the Newark Valley Costa Rica Travelers! In this fundraiser workshop, you’ll mosaic a 9" wooden lazy Susan—a functional and beautiful piece, perfect for entertaining and holiday gatherings. ✨ What You’ll Learn & Use: Mosaic on a wooden lazy Susan with a framed edge for a polished, professional look (no jagged edges). Choose from hundreds of materials including colorful glass tiles, stained glass, marbles, mirrors, ceramic plate pieces, and more. We’ll also bring a variety of autumn-inspired colors and pieces if you’d like to make a seasonal masterpiece. Learn how to cut and shape glass using glass nippers, scorers, and breakers. Complete and adhere your own unique mosaic design—any image or pattern is possible. Pick your own grout color; we’ll grout your piece twice in your chosen color and return it finished. Once class is complete, we’ll take your project back to our studio to grout and finish. Projects will be ready in about 3 weeks and can be picked up at either Jablon Studios in Vestal or in Newark Valley. We’ll email all participants when their mosaics are ready for pickup. ⚠️ Please Note: There are no refunds for this class. However, if you cannot attend, you are welcome to complete your project during any of our 6 open studio sessions per week at Jablon Studios. This is a beginner-friendly workshop and a great activity for kids as well as adults. Come mosaic, support the Costa Rica Travelers, and leave with a piece you’ll treasure!
