Mosaic Leaf Workshop at Sunflower Community Space 📍 182 Front St, Owego, NY 13827 🗓 Saturday, September 13 at 6:00 PM Join Jablon Studios for a relaxing, hands-on mosaic class at Sunflower Community Space! You’ll choose to create either a 10" maple leaf or a 12" monstera leaf. We’ll bring hundreds of colors of glass tiles, marbles, stained glass, and mirror for you to design with. You’ll learn how to cut and shape the glass and adhere your pieces to a sturdy MDF wood base—selected specifically for mosaic longevity. Each leaf base includes a clean bordered frame edge so your finished mosaic has a crisp, gap-free outline. No experience is necessary and this is a great project for kids, too. After class, we take your mosaic back to our studio to grout it twice in the grout color of your choice, then paint the edges to match for a polished, gallery-style finish. We’ll install hanging hardware on the back so it’s ready to display; optional chain hanging is available for an additional fee. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in about 3 weeks—choose pickup at Sunflower Community Space in Owego or at our Vestal studio. We’ll email you as soon as it’s ready.
