Service Description

Piece by Sacred piece. You are warmly invited to join Iesa at Jablon studios on Saturdays at 10:00 -11:30 am throughout March for a four-week Mosaic Healing Journey—a meaningful class that honors the sacred and offers comfort, clarity, and support while navigating grief. This journey creates space for open, gentle, and deeply human conversations. Together, we approach grief not as something to be fixed, but as something to be understood—something that deserves presence, compassion, and room to breathe. Through practical reflection and shared experience, we explore how to live alongside grief with greater awareness and steadiness. At the heart of this class is the metaphor of the mosaic. Just as a mosaic is formed from broken or fragmented pieces of glass—carefully assembled into something new and beautiful—our lives, too, can be reshaped after loss. What feels broken does not lose its value; it becomes part of a larger, meaningful design. Each piece of glass will represent a choice, a joy, a sorrow, a memory. As you work, you will weave your experiences into a tangible expression of your story—creating not just a mosaic, but a testament to resilience, remembrance, and emerging strength. You will be creating your story board. This is an invitation to create, to reflect, and to heal—one piece at a time. Participants will engage in a guided mosaic process designed to support reflection, grounding, and creative expression. Over the first three classes, each participant will design and build a 12" circular mosaic. The final class will focus on grouting and finishing the piece. Participants will have access to a wide range of materials, including hundreds of colors of glass tiles, stained glass, mirror, jewelry, gems, beads, and decorative elements. Each mosaic is entirely personal, with no required image or outcome. Throughout the series, participants will learn the fundamentals of mosaic art, including design and layout, safely cutting and shaping glass, working with color and texture, proper adhesive techniques, and grouting and finishing methods. Instruction is gentle, supportive, and beginner-friendly. No prior art or mosaic experience is required. The pace is intentionally calm, allowing participants to work quietly, reflect, or engage with the group as they feel comfortable. All materials, tools, and instruction are provided. 📍 Class Details 🗓 Saturdays: March 7, 14, 21 & 28 🕙 10:00–11:30 AM 📍 Jablon Studios 2240 Coleman St., Vestal, NY 13850
